Trappin aka the black trap

AYYYEEEE “my niggas” drugs are one of the most marketed product to the black youth, and we laugh and pay it no mind. Millions of black people are effected by the heavy drugs that were PLACED in the hood years ago. Today we still haven’t recovered. Even worst now we glorify the dope game or “the trap” more than our own greatness.Don’t get me wrong i enjoy listening to Jeezy or Gucci but god damn is that all we know? Is that the thing to do now? Is it ok to glamorize and market a product that makes you rich but kills the neighborhood you grew up in? Half these “niggas” rapping about drugs never sold shit but how many kids with no hope here a trap song and think thats there ticket out of the financial bends of the hood? Are you ok with making the struggle harder for the kids growing up in the neighborhood that you had to sell dope to get out of? See i understand both sides of the story. Im not knocking no “nigga” from getting his money to take care of his kingdom but what are we even gaining? You cant go too far with that dope money, we all know that. I just want our people to realize the effects of the things we are entertained by. Did our ancestors create math so we can flip bricks today?
see the dope game is really deep to me. Look at the effects of drugs in your neighborhood. Lets look at the numbers. Theres millions of addicts and millions of young blacks in jail for sales or possession of this same product. Now think of the ammount of children that are effected by either there parents being addicts, or being in jail. Think about the crack babies. Now think of the economic effect of our community. Billions of dollars are made from the drug trade but how much of that do we see the hood. NOTHING. The dope game has actually made our hoods unlivable. Think of the mental state of our community. We have lost the Father, we’ve prisoned the mothers, and the children have no hope beside reinventing the cycle of bullshit. The black family was killed in the late 70s and 80s because of crack. So basically what Im saying is even though u don’t use or sell dope if u support trap music you are buying into the mass marketing of the drugs that were place heres for modern slavery. Trap rappers are the spokesmen for the few white guys that fly that shit over here. Their videos are the commercials and the albums are the infomercials. So my suggestion is basically be aware of what entertains you and be even more aware of what you support with your “Slaveowner Cards” aka your dollars.
